I still have some mixed opinions on my undergraduate education, but one thing I am not mixed on is appreciation for Freeman Hrabowski, an impressive man who deserves every bit of recognition he receives. The fact that he takes time to have personal relationships with so many of his students — Meyerhoff Scholars, science majors, and otherwise — is almost unbelievable given his stature and responsibilities.

One of the most impressive reasons, among many, why UMBC is a source of pride for our little town. Go Retrievers!
